Customization Guide

If you'd like to play with any of the designs, just press the
'Customize it!' button to open up the Design Tool.

The button is located under the product picture. Once you're in the Design Tool you can do a number of things:

Rearrange the Design
Change the Background Color
Add Your Own Text
Add Your Own Images
Changing Optional Extras (eye color, bows etc)
Duplicate Objects
Moving Objects Between Areas
Locking an Object
Change the Style/Color of a T-shirt (or mug etc)
Combine Designs
Change the Dates on a Calendar

Rearrange the Design

Moving

Any object (image or text) can be moved around by dragging and dropping.

Resizing

You can also resize things by holding and dragging the points around the outside of a selected object.

Moving in front or behind

If a design is made up of several objects, you can move one in front of the other by clicking on the left hand side of the layer and dragging it up and down.

Selecting Multiple Objects

Hold down the 'Ctrl' key and click on each object (either in the design window on the left, or the layers on the right) to select several objects at once.

Change the Background Color

A lot of our products have changeable background colors.


Open the 'Edit' drop-down menu	Click on 'Background' (at the bottom)	Choose a color from the palette or add a HEX code to the box

Add Your Own Text


Press the 'Add text' button	Enter your text and press 'Ok'

Choose font, size, color, alignment and rotation	Arrange it on the product

Add Your Own Images


Press the 'Add images' button	Find the image on your hard drive, upload and arrange

Changing Optional Extras (eye color, bows etc)

Some Pets have extra options, like choosing between a selection of eye or bow colors. The methods for selecting them are slightly different, depending on whether you have entered the Design Tool or not:

Before Entering the Design Tool

The choices will be displayed to the right of the product in the 'Personalize it' box. All you need to do is press 'Clear' on the options you don't want.

So in this example, clearing the red and pink bows will give this Maltese a blue bow. If you'd like to choose a different color, just press reload/refresh on your browser to restore all the bows and choose again.

While in the Design Tool

You'll notice that all the options are on different layers. All you need to do is delete the ones you don't want.

If you'd like to choose again just reload/refresh the page (be warned though, you will unfortunately lose any other customization you have done!)

Tip: If you would like to move/resize a pet with addional color options, make sure you select it and the optional extras (eg eyes) by clicking on the layers one at a time while pressing Ctrl.

Duplicate Objects


Highlight the object(s). Open the 'Edit' menu and use 'Copy' and then 'Paste' to create multiple copies	Arrange the objects by hand or use the controls in the 'Arrange' drop-down menu

Moving Objects Between Areas

Some products, (like the binders and shoes) are made up of multiple areas. To move an object between them:

Highlight it
Choose 'Cut' from the 'Edit' drop-down menu
Change to the area you'd like to move it to
Click 'Paste' in the 'Edit' menu

Locking an Object

If you keep accidentally moving something that you'd rather stay put:

Highlight the object(s)
Open the 'Advanced Options' (the little cogs icon)
Tick 'Lock object(s)'

To unlock again, simply uncheck the box.

Change the Style/Color of a T-shirt (or mug etc)

Any t-shirt can be changed to any other style/color of apparel. So a regular white t-shirt can be transformed into a black hoodie, or even a pink baby-grow!
